Idea Cellular Ltd has announced the following Unaudited Consolidated results for the quarter ended December 31, 2010:
The Group has posted a net profit after tax of Rs 2430.50 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2010 where as the same was at Rs 1701.10 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2009. Total Income is Rs 39556.10 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2010 where as the same was at Rs 31494.70 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2009.
Figures for the current period are not comparable with that of the corresponding period due to the merger of Spice Communications Ltd. effective March 01, 2010, prior to which it was a joint venture.

The Company has posted a net profit after tax of Rs 2210.60 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2010 where as the same was at Rs 2101.40 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2009. Total Income is Rs 39290.50 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2010 where as the same was at Rs 29990.60 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2009.
Figures for the current period are not comparable with that of the corresponding period due to the merger of Spice Communications Ltd. effective March 01, 2010.
