Strong Q2 results push SENSEX closer to 13k-mark

MUMBAI: Strong corporate earnings, continuous inflow of foreign funds and the news that Reliance Industries was able to restore production in parts of its Jamnagar plant, helped the BSE sensex to come within a touching distance of the 13,000-mark once again on Friday.After a relatively strong start, the BSE sensex gained all through the day to close at 12,907 points, up 208 points over Thursday.
